We survived a sticky summer and have made it to fall.   This is a super time of year to train your dog outside!  I wanted to touch base and share my new phone number.   I am trying to get my website updated, but it is taking time - FTP issues.   My new number is 828-817-8446.  If you need help within 30-40 minutes of Columbus, NC, I would love to help you with any training and behavior issues.

Precision K-9, LLC of the Carolinas

June 2021 - Precision K-9, LLC in Columbus, NC started up!  

Here I am starting over!  Wow!   If you have found this page via my website or a recommendation, please feel free to peruse earlier posts.   Most training info is on my website at www.precisionk-9.com.

I have loads of experience and I am excited to help dog owners in the Carolinas!  

Methods:  I don't have A method, I have many.   If one way of doing things doesn't work, I can always help another way.   I will be honest about what I feel works best and/or quickest, but will also work with you to do what works best for you and your dog.  My training is definitely balanced.   Dogs need to know what is good and the bad.  Clear leadership from us.   We need to let them know what is good and what isn't.

APRIL 2021

 The time has come for me to head to NC.   We leave Sunday the 11th.   I will continue to post here, so keep watch in case I have information for you.   A couple things:

A student with the super nice GSD named Teal'c (Brittany) is going to teach some lessons with guidance from me.   She will make a super trainer!   We all start out at year 1.   If you would like some one-on-one help from her, let me know and I will hook you up with her.

Jim started a FB page, Treasure Valley K9 Group (Paula's Gang) - request to join that.   He is going to post when able to get together so you can all still see each other and train.   You can video anything you'd like me to review, help you with or for me to just see how great things are.  ;)   I will continue to support you all.   Email or text.   We can video back and forth.   We can Zoom.   The zoom stuff will take me a few weeks to be ready for.   (week to get to NC and a few weeks to get moved in)

I will miss everyone!  It has been my pleasure.  I am sad to leave you and excited about this new chapter at the same time.   Watch FB and here.   Take care.  Ask yourself "What would Paula tell me to do?"

I am planning to leave here April 12th to head to NC.    I am sad to leave all my wonderful clients.   Please come and train at Lifetime as much as you can before I leave.   I want to see you!

The next 8 week Basic Obedience class will be Tuesday, Sept. 17th at 7pm.   

Class is $275

This class is for puppies and dogs 4 mo and older.

We cover how dogs learn, how to train a reliable dog in all situations, behavior problems, leash manners, heeling, sit/stay, down/stay, stand/stay, come, finish.   We use lots of distractions.  

Class is held indoors at 153 N. Benjamin Lane in Boise.
